Shoutout to some the recipients of the 2024 end-of-the-year Giving Project! 

This holiday season, I am able to provide and contribute 30 (and counting) gifts to promote creativity in the OC and LA community! I know it is a bit less than in previous years, as I have allocated a good chunk of funding towards starting another passion project this winter: opening up another study center in Baguio of the Pangasinan Province in the Philippines.

Below are a bunch of items I plan to give to aspiring creatives for the low, low price of FREETY FREE DOLLARS and FREETY FREE CENTS. In other words, there is absolutely no cost.  

The "here" link below each item corresponds to its respective application via Google Forms. Only one submission per household. All repeated submissions will be ignored and disregarded. Prospective recipients residing in Orange County are preferred. 

Complete the application below by MONDAY, DECEMBER 16, 2024, at 11:59 PM PST. 

Applications will be reviewed the following weekend, and selected recipients will be notified via text message by the end of TUESDAY, December 17, 2024. 

Drop-off times will be arranged between THURSDAY, December 19, 2024, and MONDAY, December 23, 2024.

Just finished up our 5th annual backpack drive! 

We provided 182 backpacks to local students in Costa Mesa, along with school supplies, children's books, and Pokemon cards. This year, we went above and beyond, experimenting with an application-based system to provide 4 ASUS laptops from Bestbuy. Out of the 108 applicants, congrats to our 2024 recipients: Jaden, Payton, Dominic, and Leslie! 

On to the next project! :) 

We will be hosting a backpack drive for our 5th annual back-to-school giving project!

This year, we will be giving away backpacks, school supplies, children's books, and Pokemon cards at the local Wilson Park in Costa Mesa (Address: 360 W Wilson St, Costa Mesa, CA 92627) from 9 AM to 11 AM PST on SATURDAY, August 24, 2024. 

In addition, we will also be giving away 4 new laptops that came directly from BestBuy (ASUS X1404 Vivobook with a laptop sleeve). As much as I love using Apple MacBooks, I went with the more economical route and purchased 4 ASUS laptops instead. I also did a stress test, and this particular laptop does a much better job than the Chromebooks and other Windows entry laptops that I've compared. 

There are 4 available, and the recipients are as categorized: 

1 reserved for a student in grades K-5 

1 reserved for a student in grades 6-8 

1 reserved for a student in grades 9-12 

1 reserved for a student in college and beyond

I also have a new desk and office chair available for a student who would like a more comfortable study area. Growing up, I didn't have much, so I would like to continue giving back to the community.

Just wanted to update our quarterly projects. 

We are hosting a book drive this Saturday, May 4th, from 9 AM to 11 AM. The location will be at Wilson Park in Costa Mesa. We will be stationed at the BBQ / picnic area. We will be giving away over 600 books, handmade tote bags, school supplies, etc.

We have our annual BACK-TO-SCHOOL DRIVE THRU coming up! This year, we were able to supply grab bags for 102 students, so swing by on Saturday, August 19, 2023, and pick up a grab bag of goodies which include the following:

Good news! My knee is feeling a whole lot better, and I am able to lift weights and heavier objects. With that being said, I am looking forward to hosting a semi-annual event. My apologies for postponing the Spring break giveaway T___T

On SUNDAY, June 4th, 2023, we are going to have a FREECYCLE event. 

There will be lots of tech gear, accessories, clothes, etc., for the low low cost of freety-free dollars and freety-free cents. No application or reservations are needed for this event.

Time: 10:30 AM to 1 PM

As of October 2022, I am opening up some of my giving projects to the public, where anyone can access and apply for resources here! Some examples from past projects include providing food to the unhoused, providing school supplies to low-income families, and surprising random people with techie presents just for fun. 

For the most part, I will use this page to redistribute goodies to those underresourced in Orange County (with some exceptions to LA County).
